Billy Elliot is 2000 British drama film, written by Lee Hall and directed by Stephen Daldry. Stipulated in the north of England, it stars Jamie Bell as 11-year-old Billy, aspiring dancer, Gary Lewis as his coal miner father, Jamie Draven and his older brother, Billy, and Julie Walters and ballet teacher.
